August 14, 2007 by Michael L. Carmichae.
I’m ready to get back to work and a normal life, in fact I’m going to give work a go Wednesday (8/15). The doctors said I could go back to work anytime I feel up to it. This maybe near the last of the website updates. I have two pending doctors appointments that if anything comes out of those I will let everyone know and God forbid, I have any complications between now and then.
Again I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to sign my guestbook, helped us get fat by making us dinner but most especially kept us in your prayers. I’d like to give a special thanks to my wife Tiffany who was real trooper making sure everything got done so I could relax while they were messing with my brain HAHAHA!!!!

The 2007 World Famous Carmichael Reunion is over — and it was a great success.
Over 100 tickets to the chuck wagon cowboy lunch was sold.
Over 100 hot dogs for the kids were served.
Even though it was over 100 degrees, the event was pretty cool.
About 150 people showed up!
Pictures of the event will be posted soon.
We asked you not too, however: Two sets of teeth, and several wooden nickels were used in payment for the chuck wagon. Be award that Bob knows who you are ….
Thank you to all for attending, and if you were not there, you were certainly talked about.

Bob said that Hidden Valley Ranch will be open Friday, and all day Saturday. If you want to come out early on Saturday — all the better. There will be an informal get together Friday night at the Ranch.
Bob and Josh are set for 80 folks for the Saturday meal. Please: it’s $12 per person and no teeth, wooden nickels, or cow patties accepted as payment. Gold, Silver, or bona fide U.S. paper currency accepted. Keys to expensive wagons and clear titles accepted.
This is a good time to order t-shirts and the like from the online store. Proceeds will go to Bob and Josh to help offset the cost of having the full chuck wagon meal!
While the web site is the most visible portion today, the actual planning belong to Bob and Josh. Josh is the designated bus boy and will dance on tables. He may accept teeth, cow patties, and wooden nickels. Please, in fairness to Josh, close cover before striking.
The web site will be updated with info. Please also use the phone tree for the complete information. See you the first weekend of August!

Bob and Josh will be rustlin’ cattle on the prairie real soon. Bob told me that he’ll have enough vittles for about 80 cow punchers, desk jockey’s and food for the little varmints. The plan is to have the food in the early afternoon of Saturday, August 4. Remember, it’s $12 per person; please only silver, gold, cash, or check. No wooden nickels, false teeth, and don’t think of tradin’ prairie dog hides. After all, we are civilized!
Mary Ruth sent in some pictures from the last event — you’ll have fun! It is not to late to order shirts, hats, and other fun family stuff from the store.
As the time gets closer, feel free to check in with Bob and Josh (the head rustlers for the event). The proceeding days, use the phone tree! It’ll be a good time at the farm, and they’ll be plenty to do. Directions to the farm are right here, including the phone tree.
See you the first of August, and thanks for visiting!!!
